I'm honored to announce that my team (Anish Dhesikan, Kat Schneider, Kachina Studer) and I were selected for the Microsoft SH//FT Spotlight for our application HoloPay: a mixed reality retail and payments application that enables users to shop their worlds. As part of the program, SH//FT produced a video on our project, Microsoft provided us with phenomenal mentors, access to hardware and flew us out to Microsoft HQ for a weekend at the Microsoft Mixed Reality Academy.
We had so much fun shooting the video over the summer with the incredible Julie Young, CEO of SH//FT - an organization dedicated to celebrating and promoting diverse voices in the VR/AR industry.
